Merida meets Hiccup

This probably would have made the movie better.

I am Merida. Firstborn descendant of Clan Dun Broch and I’ll be shooting for my own hand.

“I think that all of the Disney villains are really well crafted, especially Ursula, but the villains in the later movies (Mother Gothel, Dr. Facilier, The Bear from Brave) aren’t as extravagant. They’er still scary, I just kind of like the magic that came with the more profound villains.”

And that’s why Gothel is scary, because she’s much more like a villain you would find in real life.

Facilier and Mordu were kind of shafted.

‘One thing that bothered me about Brave is when Elinor turns into the bear and sleeps by the witches house with Merida, then hangs out for a full day. And then that night, Fergus only just realises that his wife had gone missing? Did he not worry that he hadn’t seen her all day and night? What about not seeing Merida or the Triplets in the castle for a full day!? I don’t get it. It boggles me.’

“BUT HE WAS ENTERTAINING THE CLANS!1!” These people don’t sleep? You see how much in the end he loves his wife, I doubt he wouldn’t check on her.
One more piece in a broken movie.

“I’m really tired of people going “The reason you don’t like Brave is because you don’t UNDERSTAND it!” I understand it very well. It’s a mother daughter story about overcoming differences, understanding different points of view, and being free to live your own life.I don’t dislike it because of that, I dislike it because I thought that story in question was told in a very disjointed, sloppy, and boring way. It’s okay if someone likes or dislikes it.”

Merida the Viking and now Prince Hiccup. I’ve got ideas in mind for this au but I’m no writer so it likely will never be written into a full-fledged story.
So enjoy some random fanart of them having life-swaps.
