You think she’s a slut…how? Because people like her? Because she dated…two people prior to Harry?

I love Molly, but I don’t actually think she wanted Ron,Fred or George I think she was just trying for a girl.

Curious why this was tagged with tech…anyway - I actually kind of agree. She seems to show less concern for Ron than anyone else in her family + Harry and Hermione. It’s like she never knew him like she did his brothers and Ginny.

And what would that code be, submitter? (I’m not hip to relationships, really, what’s this code.)Asking Ron if he could date Ginny? Somehow, I don’t think Ginny would approve of that. She is her own person.

Well, when you can’t really interview people who’ve been possessed by evil wizards for an authentic literary portrayal, what can you do?

Honestly, I don’t really understand why Harry Potter “fans” fight about every little thing in Harry Potter. You fight about whether Ginny deserved Harry. Whether Ron deserved Hermione. Who should have been with who. Whether Snape was actually great guy or not. Who the true hero was. If you don’t read the books and you just watch movies that you’re not a true fan. And the thing I see the most that everyone fights about is who Lily should have chosen, Snape or James. Yes, James was a bully, and that wasn’t right. But, he grew out of it. I feel like you all forget that Snape bullied the kids at Hogwarts throughout the first 6 books/movies. He was a bully, too. In the end, James and Snape both had become better men, though. James loved Lily just as much as Snape did. I think people don’t realize that if Lily would have chosen Snape over James that there would be no Harry Potter which would have resulted in no books, and in turn would have resulted in no movies. Everyone that fought in the Battle of Hogwarts were heroes. Not just one certain person. Loving someone is not about who deserves who, it’s about love. And, Snape in the end was a truly great guy. I feel like if you’re a true fan, you won’t fight about all of these things. You will just enjoy the books/movies how JK Rowling wrote them. And, you won’t criticize the people who don’t like to read for just watching the movies. They’re just as much fans of the story as you are, and saying they’re not is just dumb. End of Story.

Not necessarily; It would just be a different story.

Honestly, I don’t understand how Ginny would let Harry name their children like that. It feels likes she didn’t have a say and he named them after all the dead people that were important to him.

The names do seem very skewed in Harry’s direction. I guess Ginny may have gotten the name Luna in for Lily’s middle name, but I don’t see how she let him get away with Albus Severus.
That’s a gorgeous picture, though.

I hate when people say Ginny randomly appeared, She was too young to be involved in book one and she’s one of the reasons you had a second book. I also dislike when people say she’s a slut. She’s dated less than the general highschool girl. How does dating 2 boys then Harry make her a slut?

I can’t help it. People always correct me on it, but that’s how I read it the first time I read the series.

Someone mentioned how it’s Ginevra on Chamber of Secrets forums…
It was a revelation to half of us on the board. Now, I check fanpets and fanfiction to make sure they’re spelling Ginny’s given name correctly.

Perhaps it’s because lots of times that we saw Ginny in the fifth (Prior to the Ministry break in) and sixth book, a good chunk of the conversation was about her dating somebody. Subconciousness, anyone?
I’ve got to remove this from my queue now.
